Candied orange peel

....all ready to be air-dry in a slow oven, coat in castor sugar and dip in dark chocolate. Simply addictive! I'm so happy to have stockpiled a stash of homemade candied orange peel for the coming fruitcake making :)

My Xmas fruitcake topper

Had a great time making this fondant lamb. I'll be making this topper for all my fruitcakes since frankly I'm quite sick of seeing those plastic santa, reindeers and xmas trees.
Another reason I chose to do this is due to the influence of my church's recent sermons. When things go wrong and complaints of bad times ahead keep coming, I want to remind myself as well as the people I love to focus and not lose sight of the Lamb (Jesus Christ).
